Measure the biggest part of your waist and hip, standing  feet together,  measure   all the circumference, (all around your body)  and for the full lenght, start from one side of the hip, until the knee, so you can see where the lenght of short will be, if you prefer, you can take one of your favorite shorts and measure it, for some people is easier this way.
